Scandinavian Midcentury Floor Lamps in Brass and Wood by Bergboms, Sweden

€5.800

Pair of Scandinavian Mid-Century Floor Lamps in Brass and Wood by Bergboms, Sweden The combination of brass and wood gives these lamps a warm appearance, with the natural grain of the wood contrasting against the metal. The design relies on the contrast between the materials rather than elaborate decoration, giving the lamps a straightforward Scandinavian character. Bergboms was a Swedish lighting manufacturer known for its use of brass and natural materials during the mid-20th century. The lamps are fitted with fabric shades that soften the light and complement the brass and wood. Very good condition with patina and some dark spots on the brass. Wear consistent with age and use. The metal diffusers under the shades have been repainted and have some minor dents. New shades. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
