Pair of Swedish floor lamps manufactured by ASEA in the 1950s. Made in brass, with circular bases, slender stems and fabric shades. The stems have a subtle hourglass shape, narrowing towards the middle before widening again. This small detail gives the lamps an interesting silhouette without the need for additional decoration. The design is otherwise quite simple, with the shaped brass stems providing the main decorative element. The matching fabric shades are newly made and complement the original brass construction. The lamps are particularly attractive as a pair and could be placed on either side of a sofa or used separately in the same room. Good original vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. There are some small dents to the bases and shade holders. The shades are new. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
