Swedish Modern Midcentury Floor Lamps by ASEA

€4.000

Pair of Swedish floor lamps manufactured by ASEA in the 1950s. Made in metal and brass, with adjustable swivel arms and fabric shades. The swivel arms allow the light to be directed as needed, making the lamps practical for reading or general lighting. The combination of metal and brass gives the lamps a simple, functional appearance, with the brass details providing a contrast to the painted metal. The lamps have a straightforward construction, with slender stems and adjustable arms. They work well as a pair on either side of a sofa, but can also be used separately. The lamps are in good original vintage condition, with some wear and patina consistent with age and use. The colour tone differs slightly between the two lamps. Both are fully functional and have been fitted with new shades. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
