Swedish Brass and Wood Floor Lamp by Boréns

€2.500

Swedish Floor Lamp in Brass and Rosewood by Boréns, Sweden, 1960s A large floor lamp combining brass and rosewood, with four light sources arranged around the upper section. Three lights are directed downwards, while a fourth provides upward illumination. The combination of uplight and downlights makes the lamp particularly versatile. The upper light provides indirect illumination towards the ceiling, while the three lower lights offer a softer, more localised light. The rosewood introduces a darker tone to the brass construction, providing a contrast between the two materials. The arrangement of the four shades also gives the lamp an interesting appearance from different angles. The lamp comes with new, custom-made hand-pleated chintz fabric shades. Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The shades are newly made. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
