Scandinavian Midcentury Floor Lamp in Brass and Wood by Falkenbergs, Sweden

€3.000

Scandinavian Mid-Century Floor Lamp in Brass and Rosewood by Falkenbergs, Sweden, 1960s The combination of brass and rosewood gives this lamp a warm, understated appearance. The contrasting materials are an important part of the design, bringing together the golden tones of the metal and the darker colour and grain of the wood. The construction is simple, allowing the different materials and their details to stand out without unnecessary decoration. A new hand-pleated fabric shade completes the lamp. The brass has developed a natural patina over time, with some spots and small dents. These signs of age have been preserved rather than polished away. Good original vintage condition with patina, spots and small dents to the brass parts. New hand-pleated shade included. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
