Large Midcentury Scandinavian Wall Sconces in Perforated Brass

Rare and sculptural pair of large Swedish wall sconces from the 1970s, possibly produced by Westal. The lamps are crafted from substantial, thick brass and feature an elongated geometric form with a perforated brass section concealing the light source. When illuminated, the perforations allow the light to filter through in a decorative pattern, creating a warm and atmospheric effect while emphasising the architectural character of the design. Their generous proportions and restrained construction make them a striking example of Scandinavian mid-century lighting. Very good vintage condition with light scratches, surface marks and signs of age and use. Dimensions: Height 55 cm (21.66 in), width 13 cm (5.12 in), depth 23 cm (9.06 in).

Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
