Swedish Wall Lamp in Brass and Metal by Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan
€3.000
Rare pair of Swedish Modern wall lamps designed by Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan around 1940. The lamps combine brass with painted metal and feature generously proportioned, curved shades supported by slender brass arms. The sweeping shape of the shades and elegant brass detailing give the lamps a distinctly sculptural character, while the restrained combination of materials is typical of Swedish lighting design of the 1930s and 1940s. The lamps have been professionally restored and repainted. Very good vintage condition with one or two minimal dents and minor signs of age and use. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
