Large Midcentury Scandinavian Brass Wall Lamps by Boréns

Striking Swedish mid-century wall lamps produced by Boréns in the 1960s. Crafted from substantial brass, each lamp features a long horizontal arm terminating in a cylindrical perforated brass shade. The light source is concealed within the shade, allowing the light to filter through the perforations while also casting a warm, directed glow. The generous proportions and architectural construction give the lamps a strong sculptural presence, while the perforated brass adds a decorative quality characteristic of Scandinavian lighting of the period. Particularly well suited for use beside a bed, sofa or as accent lighting along a larger wall. The lamps originate from a former fashion store, where they had been installed since new, and remain in very good original vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. The brass has developed a subtle natural patina. The projecting brass rod can be shortened to the desired length. The brass rod can be shortened to your desired length.

Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
