Charming Swedish wall lamps designed by Erik Tidstrand for Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in the 1950s. The lamps feature a gracefully curved brass arm and a sculpted yellow glass shade that emits a warm, diffused light. A cream-coloured metal sphere with an integrated switch forms the lower part of the lamp, adding a distinctive decorative and functional detail. A refined example of Tidstrand’s work for NK, combining playful form with functional elegance. Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and a natural patina to the brass. A minor chip on the upper edge of one of the shades. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
