Table lamp by Einar Bäckströms Metallvarufabrik, Sweden, 1960s
€2.000
A refined Swedish table lamp from the 1960s, produced by Einar Bäckströms Metallvarufabrik. The design combines a solid brass base with a slender wooden stem, creating a warm contrast between metal and natural material. The wide, cylindrical metal shade in a deep green tone gives the lamp a strong architectural presence while directing the light both downward and outward. The interior light source is partially concealed, producing a soft, even illumination. The composition is clean and balanced, with a clear focus on proportion and material harmony—hallmarks of Scandinavian modern design from the period. Condition: Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age. The shade shows a small dent, visible in the images, but remains structurally sound. Fully functional. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
