A striking and highly sculptural pendant from the 1960s, designed by Simon Henningsen. This rare chrome version of the Kassablanka model features a bold, geometric construction composed of layered metal frames surrounding colored panels in red, yellow, black, purple, pink, and orange. The interplay between the polished chrome exterior and the vibrant internal elements creates a dynamic lighting effect, where the light is both reflected and filtered through the composition. As the viewing angle shifts, the colors overlap and interact, giving the piece a constantly changing visual expression. Produced in a limited series of 200 examples, this piece is individually numbered, adding to its collectibility and significance within Danish modern lighting design.
