Chandelier by Harald Notini for Böhlmarks, Sweden, 1930s
€5.500
Distinctive 1930s chandelier designed by Harald Notini for Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik. The nickel-plated fixture features five softly curved arms surrounding a central sphere (partly hidden in the photos), giving the piece its balanced, sculptural form. Each arm holds a circular glass shade in warm cream tones with a red accent band, characteristic of Notini’s decorative yet refined lighting for Böhlmarks during this period. A beautiful example of early Swedish functionalism combined with subtle Art Deco influences. Very good vintage condition with light signs of age. The central sphere shows a small, hardly visible dent. Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
