Easy chairs model “Bodö” by Svante Skogh for AB Hjertquist & Co, Nässjö, 1957
€9.500
A well-balanced pair of Swedish easy chairs from the late 1950s, designed by Svante Skogh. The Bodö model is defined by its clean, architectural frame in warm-toned wood, with angular armrests and elegantly tapered legs that give the chairs a confident yet understated presence. The construction features visible leather strap support beneath the seat and along the back, adding both strength and a subtle crafted detail. The original spring cushions have been newly upholstered in a soft light blue velvet, offering a gentle contrast to the wood and enhancing the comfort of the chairs. Condition: Very good condition. The frames are well-preserved, and the newly upholstered cushions are in excellent condition. Normal wear consistent with age may be present on the wooden elements.
