Rare and early hallway set by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Markaryd, Sweden. Before becoming internationally known for his lighting designs, Hans-Agne Jakobsson also experimented with furniture and interior objects. This unusual and highly decorative set consists of a mirror, matching cabinet, and floating shelf, all executed in teak. The fronts are decorated with black and white patterned paper panels, introducing a graphic quality that contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the wood. The composition feels both playful and architectural, reflecting the experimental spirit of Scandinavian design during the period. The mirror measures: W 50cm (19,7"), H 75cm (29,5), D 3cm (1,2"), the locker W 26cm (10,2"), H 38cm (15"), D 23cm (9") and the shelf W65cm(25,6"), D21cm (8,3").
